أَوَكُلَّمَا عَٰهَدُوا۟ عَهْدًا نَّبَذَهُۥ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Is it not so that every time they made a covenant, a party of them threw it aside? Rather, most of them do not believe. The word is 'every time' - the breaking is the pattern, not the exception.
کیا ایسا نہیں ہے کہ جب بھی انہوں نے کوئی عہد باندھا تو ان میں سے ایک گروہ نے اسے پھینک دیا؟ بلکہ ان میں سے اکثر ایمان ہی نہیں رکھتے۔ یہاں لفظ 'جب بھی' استعمال ہوا ہے — یعنی عہد توڑنا استثنا نہیں بلکہ معمول ہے۔
