وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا ٱسْمُهُۥ وَسَعَىٰ فِى خَرَابِهَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَآ إِلَّا خَآئِفِينَ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا خِزْىٌ وَلَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
And who does greater wrong than one who prevents God's name from being remembered in His places of worship and works for their ruin - by pulling them down or by leaving them empty? Those had no right to enter them except in fear. Theirs is disgrace in this world, and theirs in the hereafter is a great punishment.
اور اس سے بڑا ظالم کون ہے جو اللہ کی مسجدوں میں اس کا نام لیے جانے سے روکے اور ان کی ویرانی کی کوشش کرے — انہیں گرا کر یا انہیں خالی چھوڑ کر؟ ایسے لوگوں کو یہ حق نہیں تھا کہ وہ ان میں خوف کے سوا کسی اور حال میں داخل ہوں۔ ان کے لیے دنیا میں رسوائی ہے، اور آخرت میں ان کے لیے بہت بڑا عذاب ہے۔
