وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا ٱلْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًا وَٱتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ مُصَلًّى وَعَهِدْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِىَ لِلطَّآئِفِينَ وَٱلْعَٰكِفِينَ وَٱلرُّكَّعِ ٱلسُّجُودِ
And when We made the House a place people return to again and again, and a place of safety - and take the standing-place of Abraham as a place of prayer. And We charged Abraham and Ishmael: purify My House for those who circle it, and those who stay at it, and those who bow and prostrate.
اور یاد کرو جب ہم نے اس گھر کو لوگوں کے بار بار لوٹنے کی جگہ اور امن کی جگہ بنایا — اور مقامِ ابراہیم کو نماز کی جگہ بنا لو۔ اور ہم نے ابراہیم اور اسماعیل کو حکم دیا: میرے گھر کو طواف کرنے والوں، اعتکاف میں بیٹھنے والوں، اور رکوع و سجدہ کرنے والوں کے لیے پاک صاف رکھو۔
