وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ ٱلْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ ٱلْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّآ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
And when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House, and Ishmael with him: 'Our Lord, accept this from us. You are the Hearing, the Knowing.' They are doing the very thing they were commanded to do, and they still ask for it to be accepted.
اور یاد کرو جب ابراہیم گھر کی بنیادیں اٹھا رہا تھا، اور اسماعیل بھی اس کے ساتھ: 'اے ہمارے رب، ہم سے یہ قبول فرما، بےشک تُو ہی سننے والا، جاننے والا ہے۔' وہ عین وہی کام کر رہے تھے جس کا انہیں حکم دیا گیا تھا، اور اس کے باوجود وہ اس کے قبول ہونے کی دعا مانگ رہے تھے۔
