رَبَّنَا وَٱبْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
'Our Lord, and raise up among them a messenger from themselves, who will recite Your signs to them and teach them the Book and the wisdom, and purify them. You are the Mighty, the Wise.' This is the last thing he asks for, and the commentaries record together that it was answered in Muhammad.
'ہمارے رب، اور ان میں انہی میں سے ایک رسول بھیج، جو ان پر تیری آیتیں پڑھے اور انہیں کتاب اور حکمت سکھائے اور انہیں پاک کرے؛ بےشک تُو ہی زبردست، حکمت والا ہے۔' یہ آخری چیز ہے جس کی اس نے دعا مانگی، اور تفاسیر ملا کر بیان کرتی ہیں کہ اس کا جواب محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صورت میں دیا گیا۔
