وَمَن يَرْغَبُ عَن مِّلَّةِ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ إِلَّا مَن سَفِهَ نَفْسَهُۥ وَلَقَدِ ٱصْطَفَيْنَٰهُ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَإِنَّهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
And who turns away from the way of Abraham except one who has made a fool of himself? We chose him in this world, and in the hereafter he is among the righteous. The loss in turning away is put as a loss to oneself, not to the way.
اور ملتِ ابراہیم سے وہی منہ موڑتا ہے جو اپنے آپ کو بیوقوف بنا لے۔ اور بےشک ہم نے اسے اس دنیا میں چن لیا، اور بےشک وہ آخرت میں نیکوں میں سے ہے۔ منہ موڑنے کا نقصان یہاں خود اس شخص کا نقصان بتایا گیا ہے، اس راستے کا نہیں۔
