وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَىْءٍ مِّنَ ٱلْخَوْفِ وَٱلْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَنفُسِ وَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
And We will certainly test you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives and fruits. And give good news to those who are patient. It is 'something of' each - a portion, not the whole; and the good news is announced before the trial is described as over.
اور ہم ضرور تمہیں خوف، بھوک، اور مال، جانوں اور پھلوں میں کچھ کمی کے ذریعے آزمائیں گے۔ اور صبر کرنے والوں کو خوشخبری دے دیجیے۔ ہر چیز میں سے 'کچھ' آزمائش دی جا رہی ہے — یعنی ایک حصہ، پورا نہیں — اور خوشخبری آزمائش کے ختم ہونے کا اعلان ہونے سے پہلے ہی دے دی گئی ہے۔
