إِنَّ ٱلصَّفَا وَٱلْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَآئِرِ ٱللَّهِ فَمَنْ حَجَّ ٱلْبَيْتَ أَوِ ٱعْتَمَرَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَن يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا وَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ
Al-Safa and al-Marwa are among the marks of God. So whoever makes the pilgrimage to the House, or the lesser visit, does no wrong in going to and fro between them. And whoever volunteers good - God is Appreciative, Knowing. The wording removes a hesitation that had arisen about the practice rather than introducing it.
بےشک صفا اور مروہ اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے ہیں۔ سو جو کوئی گھر کا حج کرے یا عمرہ کرے، اس پر کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ ان دونوں کے درمیان چکر لگائے۔ اور جو کوئی خوشی سے بھلائی کرے تو بےشک اللہ قدردان، خوب جاننے والا ہے۔ یہ الفاظ اس ہچکچاہٹ کو دور کرتے ہیں جو اس عمل کے بارے میں پیدا ہو چکی تھی، نہ کہ اسے نئے سرے سے متعارف کراتے ہیں۔
