وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
And your God is one God; there is no god but He, the Compassionate, the Merciful. This came in answer to those who asked him to describe his Lord - and the description given is oneness with no like to it in what He is or in what He does.
اور تمہارا معبود ایک ہی معبود ہے، اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ رحمٰن، رحیم ہے۔ یہ جواب ان لوگوں کو دیا گیا جنہوں نے آپ سے کہا تھا کہ اپنے رب کا وصف بیان کریں — اور جو وصف دیا گیا وہ یکتائی کا ہے، ایسی یکتائی جس کی کوئی مثال نہ اس کی ذات میں ہے نہ اس کے کاموں میں۔
