يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ كُلُوا۟ مِمَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ حَلَٰلًا طَيِّبًا وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
O mankind, eat of what is lawful and good in the earth, and do not follow in the footsteps of Satan; he is an open enemy to you. The permission is addressed to everyone and the field it opens is wide - what is warned against is the step-by-step following, not one act.
اے لوگو! زمین میں سے حلال اور پاکیزہ چیزیں کھاؤ، اور شیطان کے قدموں کی پیروی نہ کرو؛ بےشک وہ تمہارا کھلا دشمن ہے۔ یہ اجازت ہر انسان سے خطاب ہے اور جو دائرہ کھولتی ہے وہ وسیع ہے — جس چیز سے منع کیا گیا ہے وہ قدم بہ قدم پیروی ہے، کوئی ایک عمل نہیں۔
