يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُلُوا۟ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا رَزَقْنَٰكُمْ وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ لِلَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ
You who believe, eat of the good things We have provided you, and be thankful to God, if it is Him you worship. The same permission is now put to the believers, and gratitude is attached to it as the thing that makes eating an act of worship.
اے ایمان والو! ان پاکیزہ چیزوں میں سے کھاؤ جو ہم نے تمہیں دیں، اور اللہ کا شکر ادا کرو، اگر تم واقعی اسی کی عبادت کرتے ہو۔ اب یہی اجازت مومنوں کو دی جا رہی ہے، اور اس کے ساتھ شکر گزاری جوڑ دی گئی ہے، وہی چیز جو کھانے کو عبادت کا عمل بنا دیتی ہے۔
