وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْقِصَاصِ حَيَوٰةٌ يَٰٓأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
And in fair retribution there is life for you, people of understanding - so that you may guard yourselves. It preserves two lives at once: the one that would have been taken, and the one that would have been forfeited for taking it.
اور برابری کے بدلے میں تمہارے لیے زندگی ہے، اے عقل والو، تاکہ تم بچ سکو۔ یہ ایک ساتھ دو جانیں محفوظ رکھتا ہے: وہ جان جو لی جانے والی تھی، اور وہ جان جو اسے لینے کی سزا میں ضبط ہونے والی تھی۔
