وَقَٰتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
And fight in the way of God those who fight you, and do not overstep. Truly God does not love those who overstep. The permission and its limit arrive in the same sentence, and the limit is the half that is given the emphasis.
اور اللہ کی راہ میں ان لوگوں سے لڑو جو تم سے لڑتے ہیں، اور زیادتی نہ کرو۔ بےشک اللہ زیادتی کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا۔ اجازت اور اس کی حد ایک ہی جملے میں آ گئی ہیں، اور جس نصف پر زور دیا گیا ہے وہ حد والا حصہ ہے۔
