وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُعْجِبُكَ قَوْلُهُۥ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَيُشْهِدُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا فِى قَلْبِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَلَدُّ ٱلْخِصَامِ
And among the people is one whose talk about the life of this world pleases you, and who calls God as his witness for what is in his heart - and he is the fiercest of opponents. The witness he calls is the one who already knows the answer.
اور لوگوں میں کوئی ایسا بھی ہے جس کی بات دنیا کی زندگی کے بارے میں آپ کو اچھی لگتی ہے، اور وہ اپنے دل کی بات پر اللہ کو گواہ بناتا ہے — حالانکہ وہ سب سے سخت جھگڑالو ہے۔ جس ہستی کو وہ گواہ بناتا ہے وہی پہلے سے جواب جانتی ہے۔
