أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوْا۟ مِن قَبْلِكُم مَّسَّتْهُمُ ٱلْبَأْسَآءُ وَٱلضَّرَّآءُ وَزُلْزِلُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَ ٱلرَّسُولُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ مَتَىٰ نَصْرُ ٱللَّهِ أَلَآ إِنَّ نَصْرَ ٱللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ
Or did you think you would enter the Garden without there coming to you the like of what came to those who passed away before you? Hardship and injury touched them, and they were shaken until the messenger and those who believed with him said, 'When is God's help?' - Truly God's help is near. The question is put to people who had been asking it, and the answer does not deny that it took that long.
کیا تم یہ سمجھتے ہو کہ تم جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ گے حالانکہ ابھی تمہارے پاس ان لوگوں جیسی حالت نہیں آئی جو تم سے پہلے گزر چکے؟ انہیں تنگی اور تکلیف پہنچی اور وہ اس طرح ہلا دیے گئے کہ رسول اور اس کے ساتھ ایمان لانے والے کہنے لگے 'اللہ کی مدد کب آئے گی؟' سنو، بےشک اللہ کی مدد قریب ہے۔ یہ سوال انہی لوگوں سے پوچھا جا رہا ہے جو یہی سوال پوچھتے رہے تھے، اور جواب اس بات سے انکار نہیں کرتا کہ اتنی دیر لگی۔
