كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْقِتَالُ وَهُوَ كُرْهٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَىٰٓ أَن تَكْرَهُوا۟ شَيْـًٔا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَىٰٓ أَن تُحِبُّوا۟ شَيْـًٔا وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Fighting is prescribed for you, and it is hateful to you. But it may be that you hate a thing and it is good for you, and it may be that you love a thing and it is bad for you. And God knows, and you do not know. The dislike is not held against them; it is stated as a fact and then set beside the limits of what they can see.
