إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا۟ وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يَرْجُونَ رَحْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Truly those who believed, and those who left their homes and struggled in the way of God - those hope for God's mercy; and God is Forgiving, Merciful. The men involved had feared that even if they were cleared of the sin, no reward remained for them - and the answer is about the reward.
بےشک جو لوگ ایمان لائے، اور جنہوں نے ہجرت کی اور اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کیا، یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو اللہ کی رحمت کی امید رکھتے ہیں؛ اور اللہ بخشنے والا، نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔ ان لوگوں کو یہ خدشہ تھا کہ اگر گناہ سے بری بھی ہو جائیں تو کوئی اجر باقی نہیں بچے گا — اور جواب اسی اجر کے بارے میں دیا گیا ہے۔
