وَٱلَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَٰجًا وَصِيَّةً لِّأَزْوَٰجِهِم مَّتَٰعًا إِلَى ٱلْحَوْلِ غَيْرَ إِخْرَاجٍ فَإِنْ خَرَجْنَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِى مَا فَعَلْنَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِنَّ مِن مَّعْرُوفٍ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
And those of you who die and leave wives behind: a bequest for their wives, provision for a year without turning them out. But if they leave of their own accord, there is no blame on you in what they do with themselves in a decent way. And God is Mighty, Wise.
اور تم میں سے جو لوگ وفات پا جائیں اور بیویاں چھوڑ جائیں: اپنی بیویوں کے لیے وصیت کر جائیں کہ انہیں نکالے بغیر ایک سال تک سامانِ زندگی دیا جائے۔ پھر اگر وہ خود نکل جائیں تو ان کے اپنے بارے میں کوئی معروف کام کرنے میں تم پر کوئی گناہ نہیں۔ اور اللہ زبردست، حکمت والا ہے۔
