إِن تُبْدُوا۟ ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ فَنِعِمَّا هِىَ وَإِن تُخْفُوهَا وَتُؤْتُوهَا ٱلْفُقَرَآءَ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَيُكَفِّرُ عَنكُم مِّن سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ
If you disclose your charities, that is good; and if you conceal them and give them to the poor, that is better for you, and it will remove some of your bad deeds from you. And God is aware of what you do. Giving openly is called good before the concealed giving is called better.
اگر تم صدقات ظاہر کر کے دو تو یہ بھی اچھا ہے، اور اگر تم انہیں چھپاؤ اور غریبوں کو دے دو تو یہ تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے، اور یہ تمہاری کچھ برائیوں کو مٹا دے گا۔ اور اللہ اس سے خوب باخبر ہے جو تم کرتے ہو۔ کھلے عام دینے کو 'اچھا' کہا گیا، اس سے پہلے کہ چھپا کر دینے کو 'بہتر' کہا جائے۔
