قَالُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَآ إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَآ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
They said, 'Glory be to You - we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. It is You who are the Knowing, the Wise.' They declare God far above being argued with, and they claim nothing they were not given.
انہوں نے عرض کیا: 'تُو پاک ہے، ہمیں کوئی علم نہیں سوائے اس کے جو تُو نے ہمیں سکھایا ہے۔ بےشک تُو ہی علم اور حکمت والا ہے۔' یہاں فرشتے اللہ کو ہر بحث و مباحثے سے بلند و بالا قرار دے رہے ہیں، اور اپنے لیے کوئی ایسی چیز کا دعویٰ نہیں کر رہے جو انہیں نہ دی گئی ہو۔
