قَالَ يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ أَنۢبِئْهُم بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ فَلَمَّآ أَنۢبَأَهُم بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَأَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ
He said, 'Adam, tell them their names.' And when he had told them their names, He said, 'Did I not tell you that I know the unseen of the heavens and the earth, and I know what you show and what you have been concealing?'
اللہ نے فرمایا: 'اے آدم! انہیں ان چیزوں کے نام بتا دو۔' پھر جب آدم نے انہیں وہ نام بتا دیے تو اللہ نے فرمایا: 'کیا میں نے تم سے نہیں کہا تھا کہ میں آسمانوں اور زمین کا غیب جانتا ہوں، اور جو تم ظاہر کرتے ہو اور جو چھپاتے رہے ہو وہ سب جانتا ہوں؟'
