وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا۟ ٱلْحَقَّ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا۟ ٱلْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
And do not dress the truth up in falsehood, and do not conceal the truth when you know what it is. Two separate acts are forbidden: mixing the two so no one can tell them apart, and simply hiding what you know.
اور حق کو باطل کے ساتھ نہ ملاؤ، اور جانتے بوجھتے حق کو نہ چھپاؤ۔ یہاں دو الگ الگ کاموں سے روکا گیا ہے: ایک یہ کہ دونوں کو اس طرح خلط ملط کر دینا کہ کوئی انہیں الگ نہ کر سکے، اور دوسرا یہ کہ جو جانتے ہو اسے سیدھا چھپا لینا۔
