وَإِذْ وَٰعَدْنَا مُوسَىٰٓ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً ثُمَّ ٱتَّخَذْتُمُ ٱلْعِجْلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَنتُمْ ظَٰلِمُونَ
And when We appointed forty nights for Moses, and you took the calf after he had gone - and you were wrongdoers. The wrong named is worship put where it does not belong.
اور یاد کرو جب ہم نے موسیٰ سے چالیس راتوں کا وعدہ کیا، اور تم نے اس کے بعد بچھڑے کو معبود بنا لیا، جبکہ تم ظالم تھے۔ یہاں جس ظلم کا ذکر ہے وہ عبادت کو وہاں رکھنا ہے جہاں اس کا کوئی حق نہیں تھا۔
