فَبَدَّلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ قَوْلًا غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى قِيلَ لَهُمْ فَأَنزَلْنَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ رِجْزًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْسُقُونَ
But those who did wrong exchanged the word for a different word from the one they had been told, so We sent down on those who wronged a punishment from the sky, because they kept stepping outside what they were told. What was changed was small, and the point is that it was changed at all.
مگر جن لوگوں نے ظلم کیا انہوں نے وہ لفظ بدل کر ایک دوسرا لفظ کہہ دیا جو انہیں کہا گیا تھا اس کے برخلاف، تو ہم نے ظالموں پر آسمان سے عذاب نازل کیا، اس نافرمانی کی وجہ سے جو وہ کرتے رہتے تھے۔ جو تبدیلی کی گئی وہ خود چھوٹی تھی، اور اصل بات یہ ہے کہ اسے بدلا گیا۔
