وَإِذْ قَتَلْتُمْ نَفْسًا فَٱدَّٰرَْٰٔتُمْ فِيهَا وَٱللَّهُ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ
And when you killed a soul and fell to pushing the blame between you - and God was going to bring out what you were hiding. This is where the story actually begins; the cow was the answer to it.
