وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمْ لَا تَسْفِكُونَ دِمَآءَكُمْ وَلَا تُخْرِجُونَ أَنفُسَكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ
And when We took your covenant: do not shed one another's blood, and do not drive one another out of your homes. Then you affirmed it, and you yourselves bore witness to it. They were not bound by a covenant they had not seen; they confirmed it and stood witness to their own confirmation.
اور یاد کرو جب ہم نے تم سے عہد لیا: اپنا خون نہ بہانا اور اپنے آپ کو اپنے گھروں سے نہ نکالنا۔ پھر تم نے اس کا اقرار کیا، اور تم خود اس پر گواہ بنے۔ وہ کسی ایسے عہد کے پابند نہیں کیے گئے جو انہوں نے دیکھا ہی نہ ہو؛ انہوں نے خود اس کی تصدیق کی اور اپنی ہی تصدیق پر گواہ بنے۔
