يَتَخَٰفَتُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا عَشْرًا
Whispering among themselves: you stayed only ten. The commentaries note the whispering, and read the shortening of the count as what the whole of a life looks like from the far end of it.
