نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذْ يَقُولُ أَمْثَلُهُمْ طَرِيقَةً إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا يَوْمًا
We know best what they say, when the most exemplary of them says: you stayed only a day. The commentaries note that both estimates are wrong and both are short: what was long while it was lived shrinks the moment it is over.
