فَقُلْنَا يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ إِنَّ هَٰذَا عَدُوٌّ لَّكَ وَلِزَوْجِكَ فَلَا يُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا مِنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ فَتَشْقَىٰٓ
So We said: Adam, this is an enemy to you and to your wife - Iblis - so do not let him drive you both out of the Garden and bring you to hardship. The hardship named is the labour of living outside it: tilling, sowing and reaping for every meal.
سو ہم نے کہا: اے آدم، یہ تمہارا اور تمہاری بیوی کا دشمن ہے، ابلیس، سو یہ تم دونوں کو جنت سے نہ نکلوا دے کہ تم مشقت میں پڑ جاؤ۔ یہ مشقت جس کا ذکر ہوا وہ ہر لقمے کے لیے کھیتی، بوائی اور کٹائی کی محنت ہے۔
