وَأَنَا ٱخْتَرْتُكَ فَٱسْتَمِعْ لِمَا يُوحَىٰٓ
And I have chosen you, so listen to what is being revealed. The commentaries note that the choosing is stated as already done, before anything is asked of him.
اور میں نے تمہیں چن لیا ہے، اے موسیٰ، اپنی رسالت کے لیے، پس جو کچھ تم پر وحی کی جائے اسے غور سے سنو۔ تفسیریں بتاتی ہیں کہ یہ چناؤ پہلے سے طے شدہ بیان ہوا ہے، اس سے پہلے کہ ان سے کچھ مانگا جائے۔
