إِنَّنِىٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱعْبُدْنِى وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِكْرِىٓ
I am God. There is no god but I. So serve Me, and establish the prayer for My remembrance. The commentaries note that the first command given after the naming is the prayer, and the reason given for it is remembrance.
میں ہی اللہ ہوں، میرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، سو میری عبادت کرو اور میری یاد کے لیے نماز قائم کرو۔ تفسیریں بتاتی ہیں کہ اپنا تعارف کرانے کے بعد پہلا حکم نماز ہی کا دیا گیا، اور اس کی وجہ یاد الٰہی بتائی گئی۔
