وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَيْكَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَىٰٓ
And We had already shown you favour another time — the commentaries note that the granting is followed at once by a reminder of an earlier granting he had not asked for.
اور ہم نے تجھ پر ایک اور بار پہلے بھی احسان کیا تھا، اے موسیٰ۔ تفسیریں بتاتی ہیں کہ یہ نئی عطا ملتے ہی فوراً ایک پرانے احسان کی یاد دلائی گئی، وہ احسان جو تم نے کبھی مانگا ہی نہیں تھا۔
