ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱسْتَوَىٰ
The Compassionate, established over the Throne — and the commentaries are one in refusing any bodily sense to the word, each saying only what does not reduce Him to a thing seated.
رحمٰن عرش پر مستوی ہوا، ایسے استواء کے ساتھ جو اس کی شان کے لائق ہے، بغیر کسی کیفیت اور بغیر کسی تشبیہ کے۔ مفسرین سب اس پر متفق ہیں کہ اس لفظ کو کسی جسمانی معنی میں نہ لیا جائے، ہر ایک صرف وہی کہتا ہے جو اسے کسی بیٹھی ہوئی چیز جیسا نہ بنا دے۔
