فَأُلْقِىَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سُجَّدًا قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ هَٰرُونَ وَمُوسَىٰ
So the magicians were thrown down prostrate. They said: we believe in the Lord of Aaron and Moses. The commentaries note who understood first: the men who knew exactly what magic can and cannot do.
