ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ لَهُ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
God — there is no god but He. To Him belong the most beautiful names. The commentaries note that the denial of any other comes first, and the names are given to Him after nothing is left beside Him.
اللہ، اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، اسی کے لیے سب سے اچھے نام ہیں۔ تفسیریں بتاتی ہیں کہ پہلے ہر دوسرے کی نفی کی گئی ہے، اور جب اس کے سوا کچھ باقی نہیں رہا تو پھر یہ اچھے نام اسی کے لیے ثابت کیے گئے۔
