وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Muhammad was not sent for anything but mercy, and that mercy is for all peoples, not for those who accepted him alone. What he brought is the good of this life and the next, and even those who refused him were spared the punishments that wiped out the peoples before.
محمد کو صرف رحمت بنا کر بھیجا گیا، اور یہ رحمت تمام جہانوں کے لیے ہے، صرف انہی لوگوں کے لیے نہیں جنہوں نے انہیں مانا۔ وہ جو کچھ لے کر آئے وہ دنیا اور آخرت دونوں کی بھلائی ہے، اور جنہوں نے انہیں نہیں مانا وہ بھی ان عذابوں سے بچ گئے جنہوں نے پہلی قوموں کو تباہ کر دیا تھا۔
