وَإِنْ أَدْرِى لَعَلَّهُۥ فِتْنَةٌ لَّكُمْ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
And he does not know: perhaps the delay is a trial for them, taken here in the sense of a test to see what they will do with the time, and an enjoyment for a while until their term runs out.
اور مجھے نہیں معلوم — شاید یہ تاخیر خود تمہارے لیے ایک آزمائش ہو، یعنی یہ دیکھنے کے لیے کہ تم اس وقت کا کیا کرتے ہو، اور کچھ عرصے کے لیے فائدہ اٹھانے کا موقع ہو یہاں تک کہ تمہاری مدت پوری ہو جائے۔
