أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَةً مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ هُمْ يُنشِرُونَ
Or have they taken up gods made out of the earth itself - stone, gold, silver - that raise the dead? They cannot; and to claim godhood at all is to claim exactly that.
کیا انہوں نے زمین ہی سے بنے ہوئے معبود بنا رکھے ہیں — پتھر، سونا، چاندی — جو مردوں کو زندہ کر سکیں؟ وہ ایسا ہرگز نہیں کر سکتے؛ اور معبود ہونے کا دعویٰ کرنا دراصل یہی دعویٰ کرنا ہے۔
