وَمَن يَقُلْ مِنْهُمْ إِنِّىٓ إِلَٰهٌ مِّن دُونِهِۦ فَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِيهِ جَهَنَّمَ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
If any one of them were to say, I am a god beside Him, the recompense would be Hell; that is how wrongdoers are repaid. It is put as a condition, and a condition does not mean the thing has happened.
ان میں سے اگر کوئی بالفرض یہ کہہ دے کہ میں اللہ کے سوا ایک معبود ہوں تو اس کی سزا جہنم ہے؛ ظالموں کو ہم اسی طرح بدلہ دیتے ہیں۔ یہ بات ایک شرط کے طور پر کہی گئی ہے، اور شرط لگانے کا مطلب یہ نہیں کہ ایسا واقعی ہو چکا ہے۔
