قَالَ بَل رَّبُّكُمْ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَهُنَّ وَأَنَا۠ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ
He answered: your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, who brought them into being on no earlier pattern. And he set himself down as a witness to it - not as one repeating a claim but as one who has verified it and will stand by it.
انہوں نے جواب دیا: تمہارا رب تو آسمانوں اور زمین کا رب ہے، جس نے انہیں کسی پہلے نمونے کے بغیر ہی وجود میں لایا۔ اور میں خود اس بات پر گواہوں میں سے ہوں — کسی سنی سنائی بات کو دہرا نہیں رہا بلکہ اسے خود جانچ کر اس پر قائم ہوں۔
