قُلْنَا يَٰنَارُ كُونِى بَرْدًا وَسَلَٰمًا عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
God said: fire, be coolness and safety for Abraham. It burned nothing of him but the ropes that bound him; safety was said as well as coolness, so that the cold itself would not harm him.
ہم نے کہا: اے آگ، ابراہیم پر ٹھنڈی اور سلامتی والی ہو جا۔ اس آگ نے ان کی صرف وہ رسیاں جلائیں جن سے وہ بندھے ہوئے تھے۔ ٹھنڈک کے ساتھ سلامتی کا لفظ بھی اس لیے کہا گیا تاکہ خود ٹھنڈک بھی انہیں نقصان نہ پہنچائے۔
