وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ وَإِقَامَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَإِيتَآءَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةِ وَكَانُوا۟ لَنَا عَٰبِدِينَ
They were made leaders whom others follow, guiding by God's command. The doing of good, the establishing of the prayer and the giving of the zakat were revealed to them, and they served God alone.
انہیں ایسا پیشوا بنایا گیا جن کی لوگ پیروی کرتے تھے، اور وہ اللہ کے حکم سے راہنمائی کرتے تھے۔ ان کی طرف نیک کام کرنے، نماز قائم کرنے اور زکوٰۃ دینے کی وحی کی گئی، اور وہ صرف اللہ ہی کی عبادت کرنے والے تھے۔
