وَزَكَرِيَّآ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِى فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ
And Zachariah, when he called on his Lord, quietly and out of his people's hearing: my Lord, do not leave me alone, with no child to come after me. And he said in the same breath that God is the best of inheritors, the One who remains when everything else has gone.
اور زکریا کو یاد کیجیے، جب انہوں نے اپنے رب کو چپکے سے، اپنی قوم سے چھپا کر پکارا: اے میرے رب، مجھے اکیلا نہ چھوڑ کہ میرے بعد کوئی وارث نہ ہو۔ اور اسی سانس میں یہ بھی کہہ دیا کہ تو ہی سب سے بہترین وارث ہے، وہی جو ہر چیز کے ختم ہو جانے کے بعد بھی باقی رہتا ہے۔
