يَدْعُوا۟ لَمَن ضَرُّهُۥٓ أَقْرَبُ مِن نَّفْعِهِۦ لَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَوْلَىٰ وَلَبِئْسَ ٱلْعَشِيرُ
He calls on a thing whose harm is nearer to him than any good of it - the harm is real and the benefit only imagined. An evil patron, the commentaries say, and an evil companion.
وہ ایسی ہستی کو پکارتا ہے جس کا نقصان اس کے فائدے سے کہیں زیادہ قریب ہے، نقصان یقینی ہے اور فائدہ محض وہم۔ تفسیروں کے مطابق وہ بہت ہی برا کارساز اور بہت ہی برا ساتھی ہے۔
