لِّيَشْهَدُوا۟ مَنَٰفِعَ لَهُمْ وَيَذْكُرُوا۟ ٱسْمَ ٱللَّهِ فِىٓ أَيَّامٍ مَّعْلُومَٰتٍ عَلَىٰ مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّنۢ بَهِيمَةِ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ فَكُلُوا۟ مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا۟ ٱلْبَآئِسَ ٱلْفَقِيرَ
So that they may be present for what benefits them - the commentaries take the benefit as of this world and the next together - and so that they may mention God's name over the animals He has provided them, on the days appointed for it. Then they are to eat of them and feed the poor who are in want.
تاکہ وہ اس چیز میں حاضر ہوں جو ان کے لیے فائدہ مند ہے - تفسیریں اس فائدے کو دنیا اور آخرت دونوں کا مجموعہ قرار دیتی ہیں - اور تاکہ وہ مقررہ دنوں میں ان جانوروں پر اللہ کا نام لیں جو اس نے انہیں عطا کیے ہیں۔ پھر وہ خود بھی کھائیں اور ضرورت مند غریبوں کو بھی کھلائیں۔
