لَن يَنَالَ ٱللَّهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَآؤُهَا وَلَٰكِن يَنَالُهُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ مِنكُمْ كَذَٰلِكَ سَخَّرَهَا لَكُمْ لِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Neither the flesh nor the blood reaches God. What reaches Him from you is the mindfulness of God behind the act. They were made subject to you so that you would magnify God for having guided you. And give good news to those who do good.
نہ گوشت اللہ تک پہنچتا ہے اور نہ خون۔ اس تک تمہاری طرف سے جو چیز پہنچتی ہے وہ عمل کے پیچھے موجود تقویٰ ہے۔ یہ جانور تمہارے لیے اس لیے مسخر کیے گئے تاکہ تم اللہ کی بڑائی بیان کرو کہ اس نے تمہیں ہدایت دی، اور نیکی کرنے والوں کو خوشخبری سنا دو۔
