يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمْ فِى رَيْبٍ مِّنَ ٱلْبَعْثِ فَإِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ مِن مُّضْغَةٍ مُّخَلَّقَةٍ وَغَيْرِ مُخَلَّقَةٍ لِّنُبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ وَنُقِرُّ فِى ٱلْأَرْحَامِ مَا نَشَآءُ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ نُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوٓا۟ أَشُدَّكُمْ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰٓ أَرْذَلِ ٱلْعُمُرِ لِكَيْلَا يَعْلَمَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ عِلْمٍ شَيْـًٔا وَتَرَى ٱلْأَرْضَ هَامِدَةً فَإِذَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا ٱلْمَآءَ ٱهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ وَأَنۢبَتَتْ مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍۭ بَهِيجٍ
If they doubt that anyone is raised, the answer is set out as a thing they have already watched happen: dust, then a drop, then a clinging clot, then a lump formed and unformed. What is willed stays in the womb for its term and comes out an infant, then grows to full strength; some are taken early and some are left to the age at which what they knew drains away. And the earth lies dead until water comes down on it, and then it stirs and swells and puts out every lovely kind. The first beginning is the proof of the second.
اگر انہیں دوبارہ اٹھائے جانے میں شک ہے تو اس کا جواب ایک ایسی چیز کی صورت میں دیا گیا ہے جسے وہ خود دیکھ چکے ہیں: مٹی، پھر ایک قطرہ، پھر جما ہوا خون، پھر گوشت کا لوتھڑا، بنا ہوا اور ادھورا۔ جو کچھ چاہا جاتا ہے وہ ایک مقررہ مدت تک رحم میں ٹھہرا رہتا ہے اور پھر ایک بچے کی صورت میں باہر آتا ہے، پھر اپنی پوری قوت تک پہنچتا ہے؛ کچھ کو جلدی اٹھا لیا جاتا ہے اور کچھ کو اس عمر تک پہنچا دیا جاتا ہے جہاں ان کا جانا ہوا علم ختم ہو جاتا ہے۔ اور زمین مردہ پڑی ہوتی ہے یہاں تک کہ اس پر پانی اترتا ہے، تو وہ حرکت میں آ جاتی ہے، پھول جاتی ہے، اور ہر خوبصورت قسم کی چیز اگاتی ہے۔ پہلی ابتدا ہی دوسری کی دلیل ہے۔
