يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ضُرِبَ مَثَلٌ فَٱسْتَمِعُوا۟ لَهُۥٓ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَن يَخْلُقُوا۟ ذُبَابًا وَلَوِ ٱجْتَمَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ وَإِن يَسْلُبْهُمُ ٱلذُّبَابُ شَيْـًٔا لَّا يَسْتَنقِذُوهُ مِنْهُ ضَعُفَ ٱلطَّالِبُ وَٱلْمَطْلُوبُ
People: a comparison has been set out, so listen to it properly. The things they call on instead of God could not create a single fly if every one of them combined to do it; and if a fly took something from them they could not get it back. The one who asks and the one asked of are both weak.
لوگو! ایک مثال بیان کی گئی ہے، اسے غور سے سنو۔ وہ چیزیں جنہیں یہ لوگ اللہ کے سوا پکارتے ہیں، اگر سب مل کر بھی کوشش کریں تو ایک مکھی تک پیدا نہیں کر سکتے؛ اور اگر مکھی ان سے کوئی چیز چھین لے تو وہ اسے واپس بھی نہیں لے سکتے۔ مانگنے والا اور جس سے مانگا گیا، دونوں کمزور ہیں۔
