ٱللَّهُ يَصْطَفِى مِنَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ رُسُلًا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌۢ بَصِيرٌ
God chooses messengers from among the angels and messengers from among people. It came down when they asked why the reminder should be sent down on this man out of all of them. God hears what they say, and He sees who is fit to be sent.
اللہ فرشتوں میں سے قاصد چنتا ہے اور انسانوں میں سے بھی۔ یہ اس وقت نازل ہوئی جب انہوں نے پوچھا کہ سب میں سے یہی ایک شخص کیوں چنا گیا کہ اس پر نصیحت اتاری جائے۔ اللہ سنتا ہے کہ وہ کیا کہتے ہیں، اور دیکھتا ہے کہ کون بھیجے جانے کے لائق ہے۔
