قَالُوا۟ لَبِثْنَا يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ فَسْـَٔلِ ٱلْعَآدِّينَ
They say: a day, or part of a day - ask those who keep the count. What they are in now is so great that their whole stay looks short, and they no longer trust their own reckoning of it.
انہوں نے کہا: ایک دن یا دن کا کچھ حصہ — گنتی رکھنے والوں سے پوچھ لو۔ وہ اس وقت جس حالت میں ہیں وہ اتنی بڑی ہے کہ ان کا سارا زمانہ قیام مختصر لگنے لگتا ہے، اور وہ خود اپنے شمار پر بھی بھروسہ نہیں کر پاتے۔
